You Were Meant to Live for So Much More

Something's brought you here today…

Maybe it's the nudge from someone close to you. Your struggles with navigating overwhelming emotions. Or just the realization that you don't want to feel this way anymore.

Whatever it may be: you're in the right place.

Life, family, relationships…this stuff can be really hard.

  • Trying to cope with painful reminders of the past.

  • Experiencing the ups and downs of a significant loss, or a big life transition.

  • Navigating family dynamics amidst disagreement, anger, and pain.

  • Overwhelming anxiety and stress.

But as hard as these things can be, they don't have to define you.

If any of these resonate with you, I hear you, it's A LOT, and you're not alone.

You're here because you want to gain insight and learn how to manage this anxiety and stress differently. More than anything, you want to be seen, supported, and understood for who you really are. You want support that will help you address the roots of the challenges you're facing while at the same time equipping you to make forward progress in your life.

Hi, I’m Lori. I’m so glad you’re here!

The truth is, you're stronger than you think you are. I'm here to show you how to build on those strengths and to meet you where you're at with empathy, compassion, and expertise.

Bearing witness to the growth and sharing in sessions is an honor. It is a unique privilege to stand on the sacred ground of someone's pain and be invited into some of the most critical moments in a person's life. As your therapist, I will be in your balcony, cheering you on your path toward healing.

A painful experience has shattered your world. After betrayal, loss, divorce, and diagnosis, we are left holding the broken fragments of our life.

In mosaic art, the pieces don't have to be perfect to be beautiful, just like you. Together we can start to rebuild your life piece-by-piece and create a beautiful mosaic of healing and growth. Your life won't look the same, but it will still be beautiful.

Anxiety

We will work together to tackle your overwhelming thoughts and feelings related to stress and worry. Then you can get back to feeling more engaged in your relationships, more comfortable in your own skin, and more hopeful about the future.

Grief & Loss

We all experience many losses in day-to-day life, from the death of a loved one, financial issues, a relationship ending, job loss, and more. Allow yourself to fully process these feelings & experiences and find support as you move into new seasons of life.

Trauma

Your past is a part of you, but it doesn’t have to define you anymore. Our brains are wired for connection, but trauma rewires them for protection. When you can sit with and work through the impacts of your past, they begin to lose their power over you.

Christian Counseling

I truly respect what you consider to be sacred. If you're seeking spiritual integration as part of your therapy, I incorporate psychotherapy with spirituality to establish a well-rounded and holistic process of moving my clients to a place of wholeness.
